Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette review and swatches

Hi everyone! So I want to mention first and foremost that i've used this brand before years ago and the quality was meh.. the selection was very limited and packaging sucked... therefore, I didn't use this brand much and for very long. About a year ago I started hearing rave reviews about wet n wild products and I just figured it was the same and I didn't want to bother. The more I kept hearing about em, the better attention I paid to it and have found out they reformulated, redesigned and sort of relaunched this brand. Although I still shy'd away from it.. for awhile, after many times of passing by that section, I finally caved and bought the vanity palette. I get home and open it up, swatch it and gasped! The shadows were buttery silky smooth... the colors were even more beautiful than in the pan... so the next day i went back and bought the 3 remaining palettes that they had in the 6 shadow ones. So in total I now have 4.

PROS : The eyeshadows are definitely pigmented (see pics below), super buttery silky smooth, color payoff looks better than in pan, super affordable $4.99 a palette. (even cheaper with BOGO). Sleek packaging, slim so it makes it easy to travel with or fit into small spaces. Palettes have both matte and shimmer colors.

CONS: Although very pigmented, there tends to be a lot of fall outs on the darker colors. The shadows are not powdery, but more... not as pressed as for example mac shadows. The blending for this is pretty good for a drugstore brand, but it can easily be shadow overload when picking up the products with a brush and going directly on the eye so i'd suggest tapping off the excess before applying. Although the colors are pigmented and buttery smooth, like with every brand theres always a couple that wont be as good as the rest and between these 4 palettes i'd say maybe 3 of the colors i had to re-swatch a couple times to get the color to show up vibrantly.

Overall I would give these palettes 4 out of 5 stars, I knocked off one star due to heavy fallouts on some of the shadows. I would definitely repurchase if I ever run out. I highly recommend any of these palettes, seems like it would fit well with any skintone too. They're cheap and easily accessible, available at fred meyers, rite aids, walgreens, cvs, and I believe walmart as well. And if you can't get to a store... its also sold on www.drugstore.com

Hope this review was helpful and not too painfully long. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I will also be using these palettes in the futures for FOTD or looks or on my models for my portfolio so stay tuned for those!
